Do I need to edit my theme or write code?
No. Winky adds itself to your theme as an app embed you switch on with one click, and it removes cleanly when you uninstall.
Are the discount codes real?
Yes. Winky creates a single-use Shopify discount code for each winner, so codes can't be shared around. You choose the prizes, any minimum order and how long codes last.
Can a shopper keep playing until they win the best prize?
No. You set how often each shopper can play, and a returning winner gets their earlier code back instead of a new spin.
Will it annoy my shoppers?
You decide when it appears, on which pages and devices, and how often. It can wait a few seconds, appear only when someone is about to leave, or show once per visit.
How do I know it's working?
Winky's Analytics shows views, plays, orders and sales for each campaign, read live from your Shopify orders. Orders count when a shopper used the popup's button, a Winky prize code or a Winky link.
What do you do with my customers' data?
Winky doesn't collect names, emails, phone numbers or addresses. It keeps only what it needs to run your popups and report results, and deletes your data when you uninstall. Read the privacy policy.
How do I cancel?
Cancel the plan in Winky's Settings, or uninstall the app. Your popups stop and nothing more is charged.
